The inaugural Adrigole 5K took place last Saturday during the Adrigole Festival. In what could be described as very testing conditions the runners started off the race at Adrigole pier. The route took the runners towards the steep Massmount climb. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow the runners view the stunning scenery as they made their descent into Droumlave, with the finishing line on the Adrigole GAA field. Thank you to all the runners that took part, and to all the volunteers who stewarded the course. The results were  - Male Category 1^st Gary O’ Driscoll (19.02) 2^nd Adrian Quinn (19.31) 3^rd Cathal Minehane (20.21) . Female Category 1^st Deirdre Steele (20.37), 2^nd Kristen O’Sullivan (21.36), Karen Quinn (22.58). Under 18 Category 1^st Cillian O’ Sullivan (20.37) 2^nd Sean O’ Shea (20.48) 3^rd Frank O’Sullivan (22.45)
