The 10th annual John Con O’ Sullivan memorial darts competition was held on St Stephens Day in the Wild Atlantic Bar. In the Under 18 competition Donagh O’Sullivan defeated Jack Crowley in the final. In the main event, 64 players entered the competition which was played for the first time since 2019. The winners were Noel O’ Sullivan and Ray Mullins who defeated Alan O’ Sullivan and Thomas Joe O’ Sullivan in the final. Thank you to all who took part and helped out in any way and all the tournament sponsors especially the main sponsor Mozz Pizza Glengarriff.

Caha Og held their medal presentation over the Christmas holidays in the Caha Centre. With no medal presentation held over the last few years, winning teams from the last 3 years where presented with their medals from All-Ireland winning football Captain Sean O’Shea. Presentations were also made to players who had been on Cork teams and Cork development squads over the last few years.

All in Adrigole GAA were deeply saddened by the untimely passing just before Christmas of Jason O'Shea. The club wishes to express our condolences to his parents Denis and Dolores, brother Kieran and sister Lorraine and to his extended family and friends. Jason was an enthusiastic player with us at underage and adult level who always gave his best. Jason was the goalkeeper on the Adrigole team that last won the Beara Junior B Championship in 2014. Jason had a big personality which

endeared him to all who knew him and his passing will leave a big void in the club, community and fishing family. Adrigole GAA held a guard of honour for Jason from the church in Adrigole to the GAA grounds prior to his burial. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
