The ‘Ireland Lights Up’ initiative returns this January again in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation, Get Ireland Walking and the Irish Life “My Life” app. ‘Ireland Lights Up’ encourages GAA clubs across the 32 counties to turn on their floodlights and open their walking tracks so their community can come together to walk and talk in a safe environment during the dark winter evenings. Adrigole GAA are hosting the “Ireland Lights Up” walking initiative from Wednesday, January 11th from 7pm to 8pm, and running to the conclusion of Operation Transformation on March 1st. Once again, Irish Life are running the Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge through their MyLife health app. Challenge kick-off is Wednesday 11th January and will run for five weeks until midnight on the 15th February. The challenge will be across the four provinces, each club that hits the 4,000km target will be included in their province’s prize draw for 1 of 3 O’Neills Vouchers for their club.

Open the app,
Register / Log in,
Select Social icon at the bottom of the screen,
Select Challenges,
Select Munster,
Select Adrigole GAA Healthy Club.
Once you register, all steps count anywhere in the world so not confined to walking the pitch in Adrigole and it is open to members and non members.
Adrigole GAA Club membership for 2023 is now being accepted. The membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st each year. For membership, please contact club registrar Fergus Carey or any committee member.
Tickets for the Adrigole GAA monthly club draw are now on sale for 2023. Tickets are again €25 and with 12 monthly draws taking place along with a Christmas bonus draw. The draw, which started in 1984 has provided much needed funding to Adrigole GAA over the years in both the day to day running costs of the club, and the capital investment the
