Last Friday night, Adrigole GAA held its annual underage presentation in the Caha Centre . Medals were presented to the Adrigole Under 12 team that won the John Power Cup in 2022. Medals were also presented to the players under the age of 10 who took part in various blitzes and Go Games during 2022. Neilan O' Sullivan received a presentation to mark his achievement on getting to represent Cork later this year in Croke Park, after qualifying in the school’s skills competition held in

2022. A presentation was made to guest of honour Ben O' Sullivan at the medal presentation. Ben played with the Cork minor footballers in 2022 and won a Munster medal.

Sean O’ Shea was honoured as one of the monthly award winners at the 96/C103 FM gala awards night held at the Rochestown Park hotel last week. Sean received the award in recognition of his contribution to the Beara Community School team that won the All-Ireland colleges title in 2022. Sean was joined at the awards ceremony by his parents and by some of his team mates from the victorious school team.

Tickets for the Adrigole GAA monthly club draw are now on sale for 2023. Tickets are again €25 and with 12 monthly draws taking place along with a Christmas bonus draw. The draw, which started in 1984 has provided much needed funding to Adrigole GAA over the years in both the day to day running costs of the club, and the capital investment the clubs has made throughout the years in improving the facilities in the club.

The ‘Ireland Lights Up’ initiative continues in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation. The floodlights will be turned on every Wednesday from 7pm -8pm untill the conclusion of Operation Transformation on March 1st .
